6 Days - Mid-Range Manyara, Serengeti,
Crater, & Tarangire
This 6-day lodge and tented camp safari allow us to experience the highlights of the Northern Safari Circuit. We’ll experience breathtaking wildlife in the midst of some of the most diverse landscapes; monkeys in the forest, lions in trees, elephants amongst the acacias, and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano. We will also visit the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The landscapes are jaw-dropping and the variety and volume of wildlife we will see are unforgettable!
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to mid-range accommodation in Arusha. Take the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Manyara National Park
- Enjoy an early breakfast and embark on a drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the day exploring its diverse ecosystems and wildlife. In the evening, return to a mid-range lodge near Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
- Have breakfast and journey towards the Serengeti, stopping at Olduvai Gorge en route. Spend the afternoon on a game drive in the Serengeti. Stay overnight at a mid-range lodge or tented camp.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
- Devote the full day to exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. Witness the Great Migration if it’s the migration season. Consider an optional hot air balloon safari for a unique perspective. Stay overnight at the same lodge or camp.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
- Start with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, followed by a journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater to enjoy a breathtaking view. Have dinner and stay overnight at a mid-range lodge on the crater rim.
Day 6: Tarangire National Park
- Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. After lunch, drive to Tarangire National Park and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Have dinner and stay overnight at a mid-range lodge near Tarangire.
Day 7: Departure
- Begin the day with a morning game drive in Tarangire. Return to Arusha, where you can explore a local market or engage in a cultural activity. Day rooms will be available for relaxation before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
